Wealth performance management firm, Prydis, has announced a strategic move to expand into Scotland. Prydis currently has offices in London, Exeter and Liskeard and will now offer its full service range from its Scottish base in central Edinburgh.
Prydis is unique in its holistic approach to wealth management. The company provides innovative investment opportunities, access to capital; and finance raising ability for privately owned and family run businesses. It is particularly well positioned to service the needs of high-net-worth individuals.
The broader Prydis group comprises Prydis Accounts, Prydis Legal and Prydis Wealth. P1 Investment Management is also affiliated to Prydis, resulting in a true end to end service offering. P1 is a pioneer brand, having developed technology that enables it to deliver investment management services at market beating rates.
Stuart Wallace, the Edinburgh-born Executive Chairman of the Prydis group of companies said: “This is an enormously exciting time for Prydis. Having helped grow the business over the past two years, the move to Edinburgh sees us deliver on an intention we set when I joined the business on day one”.
Wallace, formally Senior Partner at PwC, is a heavyweight in professional services with over 20 years’ experience. He added, “The Prydis model is truly innovative and the traditional professional service model is ripe for transformation. We plan to deliver a Big Four style professional service offering to Scotland, at a competitive price point. With the addition of our wealth management capability; the unique investment opportunities we take to our clients; and the disruptive technology within our investment management business we have all bases covered. I’m incredibly proud to bring the Prydis brand to my hometown.”
Colin Campbell, Director at Prydis Scotland, recently joined the firm to drive its Scottish expansion and provide property industry expertise. Colin, a chartered surveyor by trade, worked with the leading Capital Markets team at JLL before leaving to manage property portfolios for private clients. He has been involved in some of the largest commercial property transactions in the Scottish market and brings with him a wealth of experience and an established professional network.
“Having been a client of Prydis I quickly realised the benefit they bring, not just to me personally, but also to the market in Scotland and I wanted to play a key part in our expansion. It was clear to me the Prydis offering is lacking in the Scottish market. The joined up thinking of accounts, legal, wealth management and the investment arm, P1 Investment Management, made it clear to me it is a true end to end service with added synergies of deal structuring and finance raising. I found the Prydis approach of looking at the interaction of my investment and tax position across my business and personal affairs to be unique. Our initial conversations with potential clients have been well received and it’s exciting to be part of this expansion.”
James Priday MD of Prydis Wealth said: “We wish Stuart and Colin well in taking the Prydis brand into Scotland. They have the full suite of the Prydis service offering behind them and the synergy in our propositions means clients can avoid shopping around for different advisers which is an onerous and expensive process. I’m also delighted at the depth of property knowledge Colin brings, both in Scotland and also to our broader client base nationwide”.
